Love is in the air and my new menu is filled with sweet delights made with lots of love, including Valentine Sugar Cookies, Meringue Kisses, Mini Madeleines, Red Velvet Cupcakes, Coconut Macaroons, Clipper Chipper Cookies and Italian Butter Sweets. Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Brunch from SarahBakes
Valentine’s Day is on a Sunday this year, so let us help you plan a fabulous brunch celebration! My Brunch menu features a variety of breakfast pastries including Cherry Chocolate Chunk Scones, Strawberries & Cream Scones, Blueberry Streusel Bread and Strawberry Muffins, and I’ve also added two savory quiches which come frozen and ready to bake.
Introducing Clipper Chippers, the world’s best Chocolate Chip Cookie
This month I am also thrilled to offer you Clipper Chippers, my all-time favorite chocolate chip cookies. Back in my Cruise Director days with Clipper Cruise Line, these cookies were served to our passengers every day at 4:00 PM. These gourmet cookies were a signature of the cruise line and once you try them, you’ll know why. Clipper Chippers are made with high-quality milk chocolate chips, two different liqueurs (Tia Maria and Frangelico), as well as three different nuts: macadamia, walnut and pecan. These are not your grandmother’s chocolate chip cookies. The cookies are available freshly baked and are also on my Frozen/Ready-to-Bake menu. Or, you can make them at home with my recipe HERE.
SarahBakes Frozen/Ready-to-Bake Menu is expanding
Our popular Frozen/Ready-to-Bake Scones are back on the menu and available in Cherry Chocolate Chunk or Strawberries & Cream flavors. The scones come frozen and can be cut into 8 large pieces or 16 smaller pieces.
I’ve also added savory quiche to the menu, in both Chicken and Artichoke or Ham, Mushroom and Spinach flavors. Each quiche is made with a cream cheese and egg base, and features two additional cheeses. The flaky, buttery crust is homemade and a highlight of the quiche. Each quiche is 9-inches and 32 ounces, and comes fully baked before being frozen and will take about 45 to 50 minutes to reheat at home.
Clipper Chippers are also available in bags of 2 dozen, so you can keep a supply in your freezer and bake them as desired.
Three gluten-free options available this month
As a baker, I am a big fan of gluten and currently only bake with regular all-purpose flour. However, I’m happy to share that there are three items on this month’s menu that are gluten-free (and delicious): Flourless Chocolate Torte, Meringue Kisses and Coconut Macaroons.
