    • Hi Deborah, Thank you for following up on this subject. Unfortunately, I have done just a bit of dabbling with gluten free options and I have not had success achieving consistent results. I am hoping to have time this month to work on a gluten free sugar cookie recipe and gluten free pie crust and I will let you know if I am able to offer these in the near future. I appreciate the reminder to think about gluten free options!

Love the idea of sharing the recipes! Do you have a suggestion on a good pizzele maker? That’s the first one I want to try.

    • Hi Mary Kay! I have a Cuisinart Pizzelle Press that I purchased nine years ago – it is model number WM-PZ2 and I love it. Today’s similar model is #WM-PZ10. I make Belgian lukken cookies with my press, which are very similar to Italian pizzelle. They are one of my most favorite holiday cookies!

You can find the new Cuisinart press online at several retailers, and when I searched right now I saw that Williams Sonoma has a slightly more expensive pizzelle press made by Chef’s Choice – this is the maker of my krumkake iron which I have had for 13 years and it is still a workhorse. Their pizzelle press may be worth the extra $10-$15, but I don’t have a Williams Sonoma store here in Fargo so I can’t check it out in person to say for sure.

If you don’t have a pizzelle recipe, here is the link to my Belgian lukken cookie recipe: https://goodfoodandwords.com/home/my-recipes/desserts-sweet-treats/belgian-lukken-cookies/ I would love to know how your cookies turn out and I wish you a happy holiday baking season!

Hi Sarah, Thank you for sharing your recipes! I am wondering if you have a quiche recipe on your site. I am new to following you! Thank you! Dawn

Are you doing Christmas cookies? I’d love 2 dozen of your frosted decorated cookies. I need by Dec 7. I ordered a quiche, but no sure order went through. Please let me know on both. Thank you.

    • Hi Patricia – Thank you so much for following up here, as I have not received a quiche order from you and apologize for the difficulty you had when trying to place your order. I hate to think that I am missing orders, and when I just tested it myself it worked fine – I received an email with the order, as well as an email to my personal address with a copy of the form I submitted. Did you press the pink “SUBMIT” button at the bottom of the page after completing the form? I know that can get overlooked sometimes. I would love any details you can share about the difficulty you experienced with the order form. To your other question, yes I am offering buttercream decorated cookies this year and will be posting my menu for sweets and treats tomorrow or Friday – I will be offering a dozen with a variety of shapes and designs for $40/doz. Please send me a quick email so that I can follow up with you in more detail – you can reach me at sarah@sarahbakesnd.com. Many thanks again and I will watch for your email. – Sarah
